Massage
Massage therapy is a therapeutic technique that involves manipulating the muscles and soft tissues of the body to enhance overall health and well-being. By applying various forms of pressure, kneading, and stretching, massage therapy helps to alleviate muscle tension, reduce stress, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. Whether used for injury recovery, managing chronic pain, or simply enhancing general wellness, massage therapy supports the body’s natural healing processes and can complement other treatments for a holistic approach to health.
Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage is a customized, outcome-focused massage designed to address specific physical concerns such as muscle tension, stress, pain, or limited mobility. While it uses Swedish massage as its foundation—characterized by flowing strokes, kneading, and circular movements to promote relaxation and circulation—it also incorporates techniques from various other modalities based on the client’s needs.
Myofacial
Myofascial massage is a specialized type of bodywork that targets the myofascial system—the connective tissue (fascia) that surrounds and supports muscles throughout the body. Over time, fascia can become tight or restricted due to injury, stress, inflammation, or poor posture, leading to pain, limited movement, or muscle dysfunction.
During a myofascial massage, the therapist uses slow, sustained pressure and stretching techniques to release tension in the fascia. Unlike traditional massage, this technique does not use oils or lotions and is typically done with gentle yet firm pressure applied directly to the skin. It may feel intense but should not be painful.

Lymphatic
Lymphatic massage, also known as Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), is a gentle, rhythmic massage technique that helps stimulate the flow of lymph fluid through the body’s lymphatic system. The lymphatic system plays a key role in immune function and fluid balance.
This technique uses light, precise, and repetitive strokes to encourage drainage of lymph nodes and support the removal of toxins, waste, and excess fluid from the body.

Craniolsacral
Craniosacral massage (or craniosacral therapy) is a gentle, non-invasive bodywork technique that focuses on releasing tension in the craniosacral system—the membranes and fluid that surround the brain and spinal cord.
Using light touch, typically no more than the weight of a nickel, the therapist works on areas such as the head, neck, and spine to detect and release restrictions. The goal is to help restore natural rhythm and flow within the central nervous system.

Prenatal
Prenatal massage is a therapeutic bodywork technique specifically designed for pregnant individuals. It helps support the physical and emotional changes that occur during pregnancy by using gentle, safe techniques tailored to each stage of gestation.
The massage is typically performed with the client in a side-lying or semi-reclined position, using pillows or bolsters for support and comfort. Pressure is generally light to moderate, and specific areas (such as the lower back, hips, and feet) are often targeted to reduce discomfort.

Reiki
Reiki is a gentle, energy-based healing practice that promotes deep relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being. Originating in Japan, Reiki involves the practitioner placing their hands lightly on or just above the body to help guide and balance the flow of energy (also known as "life force energy").
This non-invasive technique is performed fully clothed and does not involve massage or physical manipulation. Many clients experience a sense of warmth, calm, or emotional release during or after a session.
